The 787 flight deck, designed for two-crew member operation builds on the proven design of the B777 family. Larger LCD screens provide more display space despite having one less screen than the 777. A fully integrated flight management computer system (FMCS) interfaces with the Autoflight systems to provide automatic guidance and control of the 787 from immediately after takeoff to final approach and landing.
