The Ultimate 146 Collection includes the BAe146 and Avro RJ series, a four engined regional aircraft series by British Aerospace. All produced passenger variants have been included, such as the old BAe146-100, -200 and the newer BAe146-300, but also the heavily upgraded Avro RJ series. The BAe 146 is a small regional jetliner family, offering quiet, efficient operations with a distance of up to 1500 Nautical miles. Powered by four ALF502R-3 engines mounted under the wings, the three available versions have a passenger capacity of 70 to 110. Moving to the front of the plane, we end up in a flight deck with hardly any digital instrumentation. We look at an almost Sixties-era cockpit, with all analog gauges and a GNS-XLS FMC.

The Avro RJ aircraft are an upgrade of the BAe146, sporting many huge improvements to both the cabin and the flightdeck.Some of the most important improvements are better reliability, new ALF507 engines, FADEC, partly digital flightdeck instrumentation and a new GNLU910 FMC.

A high-quality soundset is provided for the ALF507-series engine. Including various environment sounds inside and outside, multiple Aural Warnings, EGPWS and other miscellaneous sounds you hear in the flightdeck. You can even hear the howl-noise of wind going through the deploying flaps.

What Simulator is this package designed for?
The 146 is designed for both, FS9 and FSX. FSX models are no port-overs from FS9 and take full advantage of FSX features like self-shadows and bump mapping.
